INTERNAL/EXTERNAL ADVERTISEMENT

PREAMBLE

The Board of Directors, Yabatech Consult Limited hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of MANAGING DIRECTOR.

Yabatech Consult Limited is the business outfit of Yaba College of Technology registered by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) RC 318820.

DUTIES OF THE MANAGING DIRECTOR

The Managing Director will be:

(i)    Responsible for the day-to-day business operations, staff management, and general administration of Consult Limited.

(ii)    Responsible for the development and implementation of a strategic plan, effective internal control system, accountability, and reporting standards to achieve Yabatech Consult Limited strategic business objectives.

(iii)    Expected to show exemplary leadership and capacity to manage human and material resources.

(iv)    Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the Board of Directors through the Chairman.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

The prospective applicants must:

(i)    Hold a good Bachelor of Science Degree (at least Second Class Upper Division) in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Marketing Economics, and Human Resources Management.

(ii) Holding MBA or M.Sc. degree will be an added advantage.

(iii)    Have at least five (5) years post qualification cognate experience, in a managerial capacity in any Business Organization plus membership of a recognized relevant professional body and be computer literate.

(iv)    Be intellectually and professionally sound and knowledgeable in business development and drive for profitability.    

(v)    Present evidence of physical and medical fitness (from a Government Hospital).

(vi)    Present evidence of professional competence, industry, and efficient management of human and material resources.

(vii)    Not be less than forty (40) years of age and not more than fifty-five (55) years old.

TERMS OF APPOINTMENT AND CONDITION OF SERVICE

(i)    Successful candidate will hold office a tenure4

 of four (4) years effective from the date of assumption of duty inclusive of six (6) months probation.

(ii)    The appointment is renewable for a maximum period of four (4) years.

(iii)    The salary attached to the position is negotiable.

(iv)    The salary shall be subject to review as may be approved by the Board of Directors from time to time.
