YABATECH SKILL ACQUISITION CENTRE GRADUATES 30 STUDENTS

Yaba College of Technology Skills Acquisition Centre held its 3rd Graduation Ceremony for 30 Students of the Centre who completed a 6-month program in fashion design, web design, event planning, shoe making, Plumbing, and other skill sets.



The ceremony was chaired by Asiwaju Mokesioluwa Seun-Adedamola, Senior Special Assistant on Special Duties to the governor of Ogun State. Other dignitaries in attendance include the Rector, Engr Obafemi Omokungbe ably represented by the Deputy Rector(Admin), Mr. Inyang-Udoh, Mrs. Oloruntosin Taiwo, National Coordinator, Rose of Sharon Foundation, and Dr. Peter Nwabueze Okolie, Dean, School of Technology.



In her welcome address, the Coordinator of the Centre, Dr. (Mrs) Abiodun Adebayo-Oyetoro expressed appreciation to the management of the college for the support and contributions to the center. She also thanked the founder and donor of the center, Apostle Folorunsho Alakija for building and equipping the center into what it is today.



The rector who was represented by the Deputy Rector (Admin) congratulated the graduands. He posited that the center will continue to earn the support of management to enable it to succeed.



The Chairman of the event admonished the graduands to put into practice the skills they have acquired during their 6 months of training. She pledged to donate sewing machines and hair drier to the center.
