RECTOR SALUTES COLLEGE COMMUNITY AT INDEPENDENCE

As Nigeria marks 63^rd  Independence Day celebrations, this is to congratulate the Management, staff and students of Yaba College of Technology for witnessing another Independence Day.

It is my sincere gratitude and utmost appreciation to the College community for your tremendous support and dedication to service, particularly since I assumed office as the Rector, to build a campus where unity, honesty prevails and attaining great lofty achievements.

In order to commemorate the independence day, the federal government has declared Monday, October 2, 2023 as public holiday.

Freedom does not come easily. We are all indebted to our national heroes who made this country what it is today. As patriotic citizens, let’s put extra effort into performing our civic responsibilities. Our diversity should not be seen as a weakness but as our greatest strength. It is only by working together that we can build a resilient and thriving nation.

Let us continuously join hands together to build a better nation that meets and surpasses the dreams of the founding fathers, and to constantly remember that the labour of our heroes past must not be in vain.

On behalf of the Management, I am wishing you and your loved ones a prosperous and optimistic independence Day celebration. Happy Independence day.
