NIGERIA AT 66: YABATECH RECTOR FELICITATES WITH NIGERIANS, REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

On behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Academic Board, staff, students and the entire Yaba College of Technology community, I warmly felicitate with the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces,  all Nigerians at home and in the Diaspora and Yaba College of Technology stakeholders on the occasion of the 66th Independence Anniversary of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

 

As our dear nation marks 66 years of independence, we celebrate the resilience, diversity, creativity and indomitable spirit of the Nigerian people. This anniversary provides another opportunity for us to reflect on our collective journey as a nation, appreciate the progress made over the years and renew our commitment to building a peaceful, prosperous and united Nigeria.

 

As an institution committed to technological education, vocational training, innovation, entrepreneurship and human-capital development, Yaba College of Technology remains firmly committed to contributing to the actualization of Nigeria's development aspirations. We shall continue to equip our students with relevant knowledge, practical skills, entrepreneurial capacity and the values required to become productive citizens and responsible leaders.

 

At this important moment in our national life, I call on Nigerians, especially our young people, to continue to believe in the Nigerian project and contribute positively to the growth and development of our nation. Every Nigerian has a role to play in building a country where excellence, innovation, integrity, justice, peace and opportunity can thrive.

 

The 66th Independence Anniversary should therefore not only be a celebration of our past but also a renewed commitment to the Nigeria we desire to build for present and future generations.

 

On behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Academic Board and the entire YABATECH community, I once again extend warm felicitations to all Nigerians on this historic occasion.

May Nigeria continue to enjoy peace, unity, stability and sustainable development. May the ingenuity and resilience of her people continue to propel the nation towards greater heights.
