YABATECH Opens Post-UTME Screening Registration for 2026/2027 Academic Session

Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) has commenced the sale of Post-UTME Screening Forms for admission into its Full-Time National Diploma (ND) programmes and B.Sc. (Education) programmes (100 and 200 Levels) affiliated with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

Interested candidates who chose YABATECH in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are invited to apply through the College portal. The application portal will remain open for four (4) weeks from the date of publication of this notice.

 

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Institution of First Choice

YABATECH must be the candidate’s first-choice institution.

2. Minimum UTME Score

Candidates must have obtained a minimum score of 160 in the 2026 UTME for:

• Full-Time National Diploma (ND) Programmes
• B.Sc. (Education) Degree Programmes (100 Level) affiliated with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN)

3. Direct Entry Candidates

Candidates seeking admission into the B.Sc. (Education) Degree Programmes (200 Level) through Direct Entry must also apply through the College portal.

4. Age Requirement

Applicants must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026.

Candidates who do not meet the age requirement are advised not to apply.

5. Second and Third Choice Candidates

Candidates who selected YABATECH as their second or third choice institution must change the College to their first choice on the JAMB portal before applying.

 

Application Procedure

Eligible candidates should follow the steps below:

1. Visit the College website: www.yabatech.edu.ng
2. Click on the “POST UTME SCREENING 2026/2027” link.
3. Complete the online application form as instructed.
4. Pay the screening fee of ₦2,000.00 (excluding result verification and transaction charges).
5. Payments can be made online or through designated banking channels.

Note: The College does not accept cash payments.

 

Important Instructions

• Candidates must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• Any false declaration or incorrect information may lead to disqualification.
• Names, photographs, O’Level results, UTME records, and all registration documents must be consistent.
• Any discrepancy in a candidate’s name or photograph may result in disqualification.
