The Rector, Yaba College of Technology has covered 365 days in office commencing May 23, 2023 to May 22, 2024. This memorable accomplishment will be recognised with a lineup of activities as scheduled below:

DAY 1/First Activity (Sunday, May 19 and Friday, May 24, 2024)

Prayers at College Chapel and Mosque 

Management, Staff and Students are invited to offer prayers for the smooth and continuous success of the administration.

DAY 2/Second Activity (Wednesday, May 22, 2024)

Staff and Students Day/Recreational Activity

This involves Staff and Students Games, Novelty matches, Health checks and Medical Screening.

DAY 3/Third Activities (Thursday, May 23, 2024)

Public Lecture and Meritorious Service Award 

This involves the following:

• A Lecture on Merits of Service by a Guest Lecturer


• Meritorious Service Awards including Posthumous Awards and Naming of Structures after some Officers that have served the College meritoriously.


• Unveiling of College Strategic Plan of Action for 2024 – 2028
