Code of Conduct

1. Nomination forms once submitted shall not be withdrawn

2. Candidates shall conduct their campaigns with decorum

3. Candidates shall not deface the College with campaign materials

NB: With respect to the college concern for the environment, the use of FLEX BANNERS is

highly recommended.

4. Candidates shall avoid the use of malignant and derogatory statements about opponent or other

candidates during campaign and debates

5. Candidates shall be responsible for any damage caused in the placement or removal of campaign

materials, and shall be liable for the cost of repairing such damages

6. Campaigns are highly prohibited on the date of the Elections. Therefore, campaign shall close at

the strike of 6: 00p.m (early evening), Wednesday, 13 October, 2021

7. Vote buying is prohibited

8. There shall be no campaign during voting

9. Any attempt to subvert the general will of voters shall be reported to the appropriate authority

10. Agents are to observe and report any act of misconduct to the electoral committee. Any agent

that conduct himself or herself in a disorderly manner or disrupt the electioneering process

shall be made to face disciplinary action in accordingly

11. Candidates that violate regulations in these rules will be subject to disciplinary action. In almost

all cases this will result in outright disqualification.

12. Election shall be conducted within the hours of 9am and 2pm, Thursday, 14 October,

2021
