To Almighty God be the glory for the unparalled success we recorded in all our major events consummating the 36th convocation ceremony of our great College. It goes down the memory lane that several years later, this year's event would remain a benchmark for other administrations to target, and other envious institutions to emulate.

Dear college staff, your outstanding contribution to the huge success of the convocation ceremony can never be underestimated, or taken for granted. Your unmitigated support and consistent collaborative style in various shapes have demonstrated your credibility in unmistakable terms, and attest in no small measure to the glory, we have recorded.

Your attendance and passion at the convocation prayer grounds - the mosque, the church, at the convocation lecture and the convocation proper have shown the whole wide world that you are worthy ambassadors of this great institution. May your intellect never grow less.

The calibre of the guests in our events is another great testimony that you are worthy of the creme de la creme of the society who honoured us with their graceful presence: The Vice President (ably represented), the Governor of Lagos State, Minister of State for Education; The First lady and the Speaker of the House of Representatives (both ably represented) is evident that we are held in high esteem.

Our collective wisdom in ensuring the unrestricted glory as received in the last one a half years and your entrepreneurial drive with which we have secured the leading position among all polytechnics in Nigeria has gone ahead to further confirm that Yabatech is a trailblazer, as we lead while others follow.

We are enjoined to please keep the flag hoisting, as sky is no longer our limit, but another pedestal to begin our success story from. Our dedication and commitment to duty will further enhance our image and readiness to rub shoulders and compete favourably with our counterparts globally.

We want to solicit your continued cooperation in rising to the challenges and dictates of industrialisation in the country. This will soar us high as a premier College of Technology, whose vision is embedded in producing highly innovative and entrepreneurial graduates that do not seek jobs but themselves, employers of labour.

With this at the backdrop, we will not only be proud of our products and image, but equally elicit kudos and eternal blessings from the visitor and founding fathers of this great institution.

Our loving, forward-looking, focused and innovative Rector, Dr. Engr. Ibraheem Adedotun Abdul and his able Management team hereby register their profound appreciation and hearty gratitude to all staff, students and other stakeholders for your unalloyed support, unmitigated loyalty and immense cooperation all through this year's convocation programme.
