1:0 INTRODUCTION.
The Students Records Department of the registry was created in 2014 out of the Old Admission/Records Department as a result of the expansion of the college registry. The aim of the creation of the Department was to bring about efficiency in the Registry. The Department is currently made of the sections that were created for administrative convenience. This include the Record Section headed by an Assistant Chief Executive Officer, the verification section headed by a Senior Assistant registrar and Student Records Digitalization section headed by an IT Officer under the Supervision of the Assistant Chief Executive Officer (ACEO) Records.

2:0 FUNCTIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT

The functions of the Department can be capture through the functions of each of the sections in the Department. These are:
(a) RECORD SECTION: This section is saddled with the following responsibility:
1. Keeping the files of both former and current full time and part time students;
2. Ensuring the retrieval of the file whenever the files are needed;
3. Ensuring the filing of various correspondences between the students and the college inside the file for use in future.

(b) DIGITALIZATION SECTION: The College is presently computerizing the records/documents of students. The digitalization section is saddled with the responsibility of assisting the company that is given the contract of the computerization exercise. The section provides all documents to be scanned and ensure that all scanned document can be viewed on line at the end of the exercise.

(c) VERIFICATION SECTION: The section is saddled with the responsibility of verifying all academic credential submitted by prospective ND and HND student admitted into the College for both part time and full time programme with the aim of ascertaining the genuity of such credentials. Credentials often verified include O/L results issued by WAEC, NECO and NABTEB and National Diploma (ND) issued by other polytechnics and Colleges of Education in the country.

3:0 STAFF STRENGTH: Presently the Department has total staff strength of eighteen in the following categories.

Senior staff: (Administrative cadre) – four (4)
Senior staff: (Executive cadre) – nine (9)
Junior staff – five (5)

4:0 HEAD OF DEPARTMENT
The Department is headed by a Deputy Registrar in the person of MR. OGUNDIPE ADEWALE JULIUS TOKUNBO. His academic qualifications are as follows

Bsc. (Ed) Economics (1992)
Master in Personnel Psychology MPP (2000)
Master (Ed) (Administration) 2008
He is also a member of the following professional bodies:
Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM) –full member
Institute of Public Administrator of Nigeria (IPAN) – fellow
He has equally attended series of conferences on administration both locally and internationally
